Monopoli or Bari? Choose your kind of Puglia

Monopoli or Bari? Choose your kind of Puglia

Where you stay changes more than the journey from the airport. It decides what the first hour of the morning feels like, whether you go out on foot for the evening, and what waits when you return. Maresole Puglia has homes around Capitolo, south of Monopoli, and an apartment in Bari. Start with the holiday you want, then choose the address.

Choose Capitolo for days built around home and sea

A terrace or a garden gives the time between outings a place of its own. Make lunch at home, leave a book on the table, and head out again when you are ready. Villa Capitolo offers the sea-view terrace. Villa gli Ulivi offers a garden setting. Il Glicine and Il Rosmarino are two different spaces at Villa Pugliese.

These homes are in the Capitolo area, not in Monopoli’s old town. Think through how you want to travel for dinner, shopping and day trips. Ask Gianni about your exact home before deciding whether to hire a car.

Choose Bari for a city stay

Bari gives you a different starting point: a city to explore, a seafront walk and an old town to return to for another look. Spend a morning around Bari Vecchia, then leave the afternoon open. The Basilica of San Nicola and the waterfront offer a starting route without turning the whole day into a schedule.

La Casa dei Viaggiatori is Gianni’s Bari apartment, at Via delle Medaglie d’Oro, 19. It is not inside Bari Vecchia. Check the route to the places you plan to visit and the public transport running on your dates.

For families, ask a different question

Rather than asking which town is best for children, think about your own routine. Do you want to cook most evenings? Is outdoor space a priority? Do stairs cause difficulty? Will everyone have their own sleeping space? Those answers help Gianni suggest a suitable home.

You do not need to see everything in one trip

A city morning, a beach day and a day staying close to home make a varied holiday without moving accommodation every night. Keep a few plans, then leave room for the places you want to revisit.

Compare Gianni’s homes or ask him which base fits your plans.
